Prince William County police charge two men in unrelated domestic crimes

Abduction | Domestic Assault & Battery – On May 6 at 2:13AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10600 block of Winfield Lp. in Manassas (20109) for a service request. While at the residence, the victim, a 31-year-old woman, reported to police that she was assaulted by an acquaintance, identified as the accused, inside the home. The victim further reported that during the encounter, the accused blocked her ability to leave several times. The victim was eventually able to leave the room. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation the accused, identified as Joseph Anthony MORTON, was arrested.

Charged with abduction and domestic assault & battery

Strangulation | Domestic Related – On May 1 at 1:57AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2300 block of Kew Gardens Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 27-year-old woman, reported to police that she and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused pushed the victim before grabbing her by the neck. The victim was eventually able to separate herself before the suspect fled the residence. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation officers obtained an arrest warrant for the accused, identified as Jordan Jackson SMALL. The accused was taken into custody on May 2 without incident.
