Warrenton man accused of assaulting a corrections officer at regional jail
Assault & Battery on a Corrections Officer – On May 5 at 8:45AM, officers responded to the Prince William-Manassas Adult Detention Center located at 9320 Lee Ave in Manassas (20110) to investigate an assault on a staff member.
The investigation revealed that the accused kicked a corrections officer in the lower legs in an attempt to trip the officer while he was passing by the cell. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jonas Isaiah HUME, was charged.
Charged on May 5, 2019:
Jonas Isaiah HUME, 41, of 5113 Rock Springs Rd. in Warrenton
Charged with assault & battery on a corrections officer
Court Date: June 24, 2019 | Bond: Remains Incarcerated
