**ARRESTS**
Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On April 23 at 8:38PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15000 block of Jarrell Pl. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a stabbing.
The investigation revealed that the two accused parties were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused female observed the male party strike a 7-year-old boy. When the female party confronted the male about the assault, he struck her in the face multiple times. The female then retrieved a knife and stabbed the male in the upper body. The male party left the home and contacted police from another residence.
The male was flown to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The female party reported minor injuries. The child was not injured. Following the investigation, both parties, identified below, were charged in connection to the incident.

Strong-Armed Robbery | Burglary – On April 24 at 2:04AM, officers responded to the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy. and Panther Pride Dr. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery.
The victim, a 55-year-old man, reported to police that he was walking on Panther Pride Dr. when an unknown individual, later identified as the accused, approached him. When the victim attempted to cross the road, the accused struck him in the face and body causing him to fall to the ground. The accused then took the victim’s cell phone and wallet before fleeing.
Witnesses in the area at the time contacted the police. With the assistance of the Fairfax police helicopter, the accused was observed on Cheviot Hill Ct. Officers, arriving at the home, observed an open rear sliding glass door. Upon officers entering the residence, the accused attempted to flee out of the front door. The accused was immediately detained without incident. The victim reported minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. The accused was also found to be wanted on multiple failure to appear warrants. Following the investigation, the accused identified as Malik MCCOY-ADAMS, was arrested.

Brandishing a Firearm – On April 23 at 11:05AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1400 block of G St. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a brandishing. The victim, a 38-year-old man, reported to police that he was involved in a verbal argument with his neighbor, identified as the accused, which escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a shotgun from his home and brandished it towards the victim. The victim contacted police and the parties separated.
No injuries were reported and no shots were fired. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Dale Renard ALEXANDER, was arrested.
