Family member transports stabbing victim from party to hospital in Woodbridge
Malicious Wounding – On March 24 at 7:18AM, officers responded to Sentara Hospital to investigate a stabbing.
The victim, a 31-year-old male, reported to police that he was stabbed while attending a party at a residence in the 1600 block of Maurice Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) sometime between 11:00PM on March 23 and 6:50AM on March 24.
The victim observed an acquaintance being assaulted at the home and, when he attempted to separate the parties, he was stabbed.
The parties eventually separated and a family member responded to the Maurice Dr. residence and transported the victim to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation continues.
