Prince William County man arrested in connection with March 15 shooting in Manassas City

**UPDATE/ARREST** Shooting Investigation
On March 15, 2019 at 9:11 p.m., Manassas City police officers responded to the 9600 block of Grant Ave for a report of a shots fired call. When officers arrived in the area, they located an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The adult male victim was flown to a local area hospital with life-threatening injuries.  The victim, who was later listed as being in stable condition, is still recovering from the injuries sustained during the incident.

Through investigation city police detectives identified Dominik Anthony WALKER as a suspect in this case. WALKER was arrested on March 22, 2019 by Manassas City Police without incident. WALKER’s bond status and court date are unavailable at this time.

Arrested:  Dominik Anthony WALKER, 20-year-old resident of Prince William County
Charges:  Malicious Wounding (x2) Attempted Malicious Wounding (x2) Using a Firearm in Commission of a Felony (x2)

The victim of the shooting that occurred on March 15 is still being treated at a local hospital and is currently listed as being in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing. Detectives are examining evidence related to the case and are looking into all possible leads. More information will be released when it becomes available.
