Students and adults may apply by March 15 for PWCS Practical Nursing Program
High school seniors and adults interested in nursing careers are encouraged to investigate the Prince William County Public Schools Practical Nursing program. The application period ends March 15, 2019.
The program prepares students to become valuable members of a healthcare team working under the supervision of a physician or a registered nurse. The School of Practical Nursing is located at Osbourn Park High School in Manassas.
The program is open to high school seniors and adults in Prince William County, Manassas, Manassas Park, and surrounding counties. PWCS students may also check with their school counseling office for more information.
Graduates who obtain state licensure are eligible for employment by nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, physicians’ offices, corporate occupational health facilities, public school systems, and other areas of healthcare.
