Suspect charged with heist at Woodbridge B Thrifty store last July

Commercial Burglary *ARREST – On February 22 officers received a tip about a possible suspect in connection to a commercial burglary that occurred at the B Thrifty store located at 13412 Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191).

The investigation revealed on July 17 between 1:45AM and 2:10AM, an unknown suspect forced entry into the building through a rear door, removed an undisclosed amount of money and fled the area on foot. Following the investigation, the accused was identified as Anthony Marque JOHNSON, and arrested without incident.

Anthony Marques JOHNSON, 23, of 14301 Bellona Rd. in Woodbridge
Charged with burglary and petit larceny
Court: April 4, 2019 | Bond: Held on $3000 secured bond

Commercial Burglary [Previously Released] – On July 17 at 7:00PM, officers responded to the B-Thrifty located at 13412 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. An employee reported to police that an unknown suspect entered the business around 1:45AM that morning. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry. The suspect took moneybags from a safe before fleeing the business on foot. The investigation continues.
