Two Manassas men held without bond after incidents involving strangulation and felony eluding

**ARRESTS**

Strangulation | Abduction | Domestic Assault & Battery – On February 20 at 12:01AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7000 block of Apache Ridge Ct. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 42-year-old woman, reported to police that she and the accused, a family member, were engaged in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused pushed the victim down, got on top of her, and held her down by her neck, obstructing her ability to breath. Family members heard the struggle and contacted police. Upon arrival, officers separated the parties and detained the accused. The victim sustained minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Keith Joseph Clark PINCUS, was arrested without incident.

Charged with strangulation, abduction and domestic assault & battery

Felony Eluding – On February 19 around 4:00PM, an officer was conducting speed enforcement in the 7100 block of Yates Ford Rd in Manassas (20111) when he observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Upon initiating a traffic stop in the area of Yates Ford Rd. and Prince William Pkwy., the driver ignored the officer’s emergency equipment, including lights and siren, and accelerated away at a high rate of speed onto Prince William Pkwy. The officer lost sight of the vehicle when it turned onto Ellis Rd. A short time later, the suspect vehicle struck another vehicle traveling on Ellis Rd. before striking a utility pole, causing the pole to break. The damage to the pole caused Ellis Rd. to be shut down for an extended period to allow for repairs to the electrical lines. Minor injuries were reported by the accused. No other injuries were reported. Upon further investigation, officers determined that the accused was intoxicated. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Pavol LESHCHENKO, was arrested.

Charged with felony eluding, driving under the influence: 2nd offense in 10 years, driving after forfeiture of license, reckless driving, aggressive driving and possession of marijuana
Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond
