Auto missing from BP station parking lot

Stolen Vehicle
On February 12, 2019 at 7:43 p.m., an officer from the Manassas City Police Department responded to 10441 Nokesville Rd (BP Gas Station) for a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim told police on Saturday February 9, 2019 at 11:30 p.m., he parked his blue 2017 Hyundai Elantra in the parking lot of the business. The victim returned to the BP station on February 10, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. and noticed the vehicle was missing. There was no record of the vehicle being towed from the location. The investigation is ongoing.

Residential Burglary
On February 12, 2019 at 10:00 p.m., an officer responded to the 8900 block of Sweetbriar St for a report of burglary. The investigation revealed forced entry was made into the residence through a rear sliding glass door. The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between February 10th and February 12th. Cash, jewelry, and electronics were reported stolen. The investigation is ongoing.
