Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On February 6 at 10:35PM, officers responded to the area of Bristow Rd. and Wright Ln. in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a welfare check on an 18-year-old male.
While driving in the area of Nokesville Rd. and Bristow Rd., officers observed a vehicle traveling on Nokesville Rd being driven by a male matching the description of the individual involved. As officers attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle suddenly left the roadway and struck a utility pole, causing the pole to fall over. Officers checked on the condition of the driver who refused medical attention.
When officers attempted to detained the accused, he resisted. During the encounter, the accused struck an officer in the face and attempted to strike a second officer. The officers deployed pepper spray and detained the accused without further incident. The accused was transported to a local hospital as a precaution with minor injuries.
Following the investigation and upon his release from the hospital, the accused, identified as Emanuel CANI, was arrested and transported to the Adult Detention Center.

Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related - On February 5 at 8:01AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8000 block of Community Dr. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed that the accused was involved in a verbal altercation with a 41-year-old woman, identified as a family member, which escalated.
During the encounter, the accused assaulted the woman on the head and body causing minor injuries. When another family member, identified as a 22-year-old man, attempted to intervene, the accused assaulted the man then retrieved a knife and cut him on the hand causing minor injuries.
The parties eventually separated, and the police were contacted. After officers arrived and detained the accused, the woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Edwin Dono OSORIA, was arrested without incident.
