Stabbing victim in Manassas airlifted Feb. 4 to local hospital with serious injuries

Stabbing **ARREST**
On February 4, 2019 at 8:41 p.m., officers from the Manassas City Police Department responded to the 9600 block of Grant Ave for a report of a stabbing.  Upon arrival officers located an adult female suffering from an apparent stab wound. 

The victim, who was identified as a 26-year-old resident of Manassas, was flown to a local area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. 

The investigation revealed the victim and suspect, who were known to each other, were involved in a physical altercation which escalated when the suspect stabbed the victim.  The suspect was taken into custody on scene by officers without incident. 

The suspect was identified as Ryan HOGAN, a 38-year-old resident of Manassas.  HOGAN was arrested and charged with aggravated malicious wounding and was held without bond. 

Arrested:  Ryan HOGAN, 38-year-old resident of Manassas
Charges:  Aggravated Malicious Wounding, Currently Held WITHOUT BOND,
Court Dates cheduled for March 13, 2019.
