Boy, 14, knocked unconscious in strong-armed robbery – On Jan. 29 at 1:28 p.m., officers responded to the 16600 block of Flotilla Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 14-year-old male, was walking in the area when he was approached by a large group of juvenile males. During the encounter, the suspects assaulted the victim and knocked him unconscious. The suspects then took the victim’s property before fleeing the area on foot. Officers arrived and searched the area for the suspects who were not located. The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries and was later released. The investigation continues.
Jewelry & $$ reported missing in residential burglary – On Jan. 30 at 7:38 p.m., officers responded to an apartment located in the 9800 block of Fairmont Ave in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. A resident reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 3 p.m. on Jan. 26 and noon on Jan. 29. There were no signs of forced entry. Jewelry and money were reported missing.
Microwaves and gas range reported missing in new home site burglary – On Jan. 30 at 8:32 a.m., officers responded to a new home construction site located in the 2200 block of Red Pine Lp in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that sometime between 4 p.m. on Jan. 25 and 10 a.m. on Jan. 28, entry was made into two unfinished residences. There were no signs of forced entry into the home. Two microwaves and a gas range were reported missing. The investigation continues.
Two 15-year-old victims struck; relative arrested – On January 31 at 11:15AM, officers responded to the 2600 block of Miranda Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed that the accused was involved in a verbal altercation with a 15-year-old female, identified as a family member, and her 15-year-old male acquaintance. During the encounter, the accused grabbed a rope and struck the two victims before they were able to flee the residence and contact police. At some point during the encounter, the accused brandished a handgun and threatened the male victim. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Paul Khali BANGURA, was arrested without incident.
