Fatal crash Jan. 4 at Sudley Rd. and Godwin Drive in three-vehicle collision
Fatal Crash Investigation
On January 4, 2019 at 10:18 a.m., Manassas City plice officers responded to the intersection of Sudley Rd at Godwin Dr to investigate a crash involving three vehicles.
As a result of the crash, the driver of one of the vehicles sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local area hospital. The critically injured driver, a 46-year-old year old male, later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital, according to Senior Police Officer Charles Sharp.
The identity of the victim is being withheld at this time until next-of-kin can be notified, SO Sharp said.
