**ARRESTS**
Assault & Battery - On Nov. 6 at 6:28PM, Prince William County Police officers, in conjunction with Child Protective Services, responded to Victory Elementary School located at 12001 Tygart Lake Dr in Bristow (20136) to investigate an assault between a student and a School-After-Care (SAC) employee.
According to the police report, the investigation revealed that the victim, a 9-year-old boy, had accidently stepped on the foot of another 9-year-old classmate.
At that point, the SAC employee, identified as the accused, approached the victim and intentionally stepped on his foot. The victim sustained bruising and other markings on the top his foot as a result of the encounter.
Sgt. Jonathan Perok, police department spokesman, said that the SAC employee is not a Prince William County School employee, that School-After-Care is provided to the school through a company called “AlphaBEST.” Following the investigation, officers charged the accused, identified as Christopher Aaron DEAN, with one misdemeanor count of assault & battery on Nov. 7. The accused was subsequently released on a summons to appear in court.
