Man wanted in connection with assault of a PRTC bus driver found during taxi cab dispute

Malicious Wounding by Caustic Substance *ARREST –
On November 7 at 10:15PM, officers responded to the area of Lomond Dr and Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a dispute between a taxi cab driver and a male customer. When officers arrived, the customer fled on foot. Officers pursued the man on foot who was eventually detained.

The customer was identified as the accused who was wanted in connection to an assault of a PRTC bus driver that occurred in the area of Minnieville Rd and Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge on September 11. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Andre Jon RICHARDSON, was arrested.

Malicious Wounding by Caustic Substance *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED [Previously Released] – On September 26, officers identified the suspect involved in the assault of a PRTC bus driver that occurred in the area of Minnieville Rd and Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge on September 11. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the suspect, identified as Andre Jon RICHARDSON. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Malicious Wounding by Caustic Substance [Previously Released] – On September 11 at 8:15PM, officers responded to the area of Minnieville Rd and Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault of a Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission (PRTC) bus driver. The driver, a 55-year-old man, reported to police that he was operating a PRTC bus in the above area when he observed an unknown male running alongside the bus. When the bus stopped at the intersection due to traffic, the male began banging on the bus and demanded that the door be opened. When the driver refused, the male stood in front of the bus blocking it from moving. The male then returned to the bus door and kicked out one of the lower windows on the door. The suspect was then able to reach inside and open the door. The suspect then entered the bus, sprayed the driver with an unknown substance causing minor injuries to the driver, and then fled the area on foot. A police K-9 responded and searched for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.

**INCIDENTS**
Attempted Strong-Armed Robbery –
On November 7 at 11:40PM, officers responded to the Smokey Bones restaurant located at 2601 Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an attempted robbery. The victim, a 19-year-old woman, reported to police that she was sitting in her vehicle in the parking lot when an unknown man approached the passenger side of the car. During the encounter, the man broke through the passenger window and entered the vehicle. Once inside, the man struck the victim and attempted to take money from her. After a brief struggle, the man exited the car and fled in an unknown vehicle towards I-95. Minor injuries were reported and no money was taken. The suspect was not located.

Black male, mid 20s, 6’0”, 230lbs with a heavy build, medium complexion and long black dreadlocks

Commercial Burglary – On November 3 at 9:04AM, officers responded to the Wonder Nails located at 4324 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that the burglary occurred between 7:30PM on November 2 and 8:45AM on November 3. Entry appears to have been made into the business through a rear door. Money and other property were reported missing.
