Attack on PWC Courthouse in Manassas; county police suspect BB-type gun

Destruction of Property – On July 10 at 9:39AM, officers responded to the Prince William County Courthouse located at 9311 Lee Ave in Manassas (20110) to investigate a destruction of property. The investigation revealed that sometime between 5:00PM on July 9 and 1:00AM on July 10, an unknown suspect(s) struck approximately three to four windows of the facility with, what was believed to be, a BB-type gun. The projectiles damaged the first pane of the windows. No projectile entered the building, which was unoccupied at the time of the incident.

Residential Burglary – On July 10 at 4:40PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 6200 block of Toledo Pl in Haymarket (20169) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that the burglary occurred sometime between April 1 and July 10. Entry appeared to have been made into the home through a kitchen window that was found damaged. No property was reported missing.
