Carmello’s Restaurant, 9108 Center Street, in Historic Manassas, Va. is turning 30 on Feb. 6, 2017. In celebration, it will offer 30 percent off all food from Feb. 6-12, according to a news release.
Carmello’s has been a family-owned restaurant in Historic Manassas, since 1987. Its seasonal menus offer a wide variety of Mediterranean cuisine with Portuguese influence. Carmello’s sources local ingredients, and uses fresh herbs from its backyard garden, the news release went on to say.
“We’re so grateful for our customers, and we welcome them to stop by and help us celebrate our 30th anniversary,” said Alice Pires, owner of Carmello’s of Historic Manassas, Va.
In 2011, its sister restaurant, Monza, was created, providing bistro fare. Carmello’s earned the Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator magazine for six consecutive years, and has been voted best fining dining restaurant by Prince William Today for 2013.
Carmello’s and Monza are active volunteers in its community, uniting with local charities to help those in need and to build community spirit.
