Reckless Handling of a Firearm
On Sept. 30 at 1:26 a.m., police responded to the 12700 block of Bombay Way in Woodbridge for shots fired. Police were in the area of the Merchant Plaza nearby when several gunshots were heard on Bombay Way. Police quickly arrived in the area of the shots but did not locate any suspects. No injuries or property damage were reported.

Burglary
On Sept. 29 at 1:03 p.m., police responded to the 1400 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that she had returned home and found two unknown men inside her residence. Both males, once discovered by the homeowner, fled the residence and got into a vehicle parked nearby. There were no signs of forced entry. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured sliding glass door. No items were reported missing. Lookout: Two black males. First male was about 21, 5’09”, medium build, short black hair. Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants with a maroon/white stripe and gloves. Second male was 19-20, thin build, no further description. Last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black pants with a maroon/white stripe and gloves. Vehicle Lookout: A white, Dodge four-door, with a black stripe on the side, unknown year.
Burglary
On Sept. 28 at 3:30 p.m., police responded to the 7800 block of Gregory Ct. in Manassas for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 11 a.m. Sept. 24 and 3:30 p.m. Sept. 28. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through a doggy door on a rear door. A laptop and jewelry valued around $3,700 were reported missing.
