ARRESTS
Attempted Murder

On Sept. 17 at 7:09 p.m., police responded to investigate a shooting, which was reported to have occurred in the 15700 block of Beau Ridge Dr. in Woodbridge. The investigation revealed the accused had shot the male victim, 49 and a family member, in the back of the head while he slept. The shooting appeared to have stemmed from past disagreements between the victim and the accused. The victim was treated at an area hospital for nonlife threatening injuries. The accused was arrested without further incident. Arrested: A 17-year-old male of Woodbridge. Charged with attempted murder, malicious wounding and the use of a firearm in commission of a felony. Court date unavailable, held at a juvenile detention facility.

Rape
On Sept. 18 at 11:03 p.m., police responded to the 12800 block of Island House Loop in Dale City for a sexual assault. The investigation revealed the female victim, 25 of Dumfries, had been sexually assaulted by the accused, a known acquaintance, at his residence in the above area. The victim was able to leave the apartment and contact police. The accused was arrested and charged. Arrested: Albert Sasu, 26, of 12851 Island House Loop #103 in Dale City. Charged with rape. Court date set for Nov. 14, 2011, held without bond.

Brandishing
On Sept. 18 at 2 a.m., police responded to Dominion Towing at 15009 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge for a brandishing call. The investigation revealed the accused entered the business and brandished a handgun towards a male employee, 28 of Fredericksburg, after a dispute over a towing issue. No shots were fired and no injuries were reported. The accused fled the scene but returned shortly after police arrival and was taken into custody. Arrested: Christopher Jermaine Williams, 21, of 12225 Creekview Ct. in Woodbridge. Charged with brandishing a firearm and possession of a concealed weapon. Court date unavailable, held on a $3,000 secured bond.

Unlawful Entry
On Sept. 17 at 4:34 a.m., police responded to the 5300 block of Qualey Place in Woodbridge for a suspicious person. Neighbor reported to police that two unknown men, later identified as the accused individuals, were looking into her neighbor’s residence with a flashlight. Police arrived and located a rear door that had been kicked in. Upon checking the residence, the two accused fled but were quickly arrested. The residence was not occupied at the time of the incident and no items were reported missing. Arrested: Omoteniola Olaseni Agunbiade, 20, of 5564 Neddleton Ave. in Woodbridge. Tarik Malcolm Francis, 20, of 5564 Neddleton Ave. in Woodbridge. Both were charged with unlawful entry. Court date for both set for Nov. 15, 2011, both held on a $2,500 secured bond.

INCIDENT REPORTS
Strong Armed Robbery

On Sept. 17 at 10:52 p.m., police responded to the area of Smoketown Road and Garza Way in Dale City for a robbery. The male victim, 26 of Woodbridge, reported to police he was walking in the area above when he was approached by a group of unknown men who assaulted him. One of the men took the victim’s cell phone valued around $200. A passing motorist observed the incident and contacted police. The victim was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. No descriptions of the assailants could be provided to police.

OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS
Burglary

On Sept. 18 at 10:43 a.m., police responded to the 15900 block of Donald Curtis Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between an unknown time Sept. 11 and 9:30 a.m. Sept. 18. Entry appeared to have been made through an opened rear door. Miscellaneous items valued around $775 were reported missing. 

Burglary
On Sept. 17 at 5:28 p.m., police responded to the 1900 block of Gableridge Turn in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 10 p.m. Sept. 16 and 5 p.m. Sept. 17. Entry appeared to have been made though the front door that had been pried opened. Jewelry, cell phone and a gaming console valued around $1,200 were reported missing. 

Burglary
On Sept. 16 at 7:08 p.m., police responded to the 4400 block of Starling Ct. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 8 a.m. and 5:20 p.m.. Entry appeared to have been made though a basement door that had been forced opened. No items were reported missing. 

Burglary
On Sept. 16 at 6:56 p.m., police responded to the 4400 block of Starling Ct. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between noon and 1:30 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made though a basement door that had been forced opened. Jewelry valued around $150 was reported missing. 

Burglary
On Sept. 16 at 2:30 p.m., police responded to the 15200 block of Barnabas Trail in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 8:30 a.m. and noon. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through the front door. A shoe collection and games valued around $700 were reported missing. 

Burglary
On Sept. 16 at 12:13 p.m., police responded to the 14400 block of Duran Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary to a vacant home. Property owner reported to police the burglary occurred between 10 a.m. Sept. 13 and 4 p.m. Sept. 15. Entry appeared to have been made through a basement window that had been broken out. Copper piping, unknown value, was reported missing. 

Burglary
On Sept. 15 at 9:58 p.m., police responded to the 3900 block of Findley Road in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 6 p.m. Sept. 2 and 9:30 p.m. Sept. 15. Copper piping, of unknown value, in addition to tools and a tool box valued around $300, were reported missing.
