Evergreen’s weekly Saturday trash and recycling site to close after Dec. 26 collection
Weekly Saturday trash and recycling collection services at the Evergreen fire station will cease operation after the collection on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, according to a news release from the Solid Waste Division of Prince William County’s Department of Public Works.
Residents may take their trash and recycling to the Balls Ford Road Compost Facility, located at 13000 Balls Ford Road in Manassas. Hours of operation are Mon-Sat, 7:30am to 5pm, and Sun, 8am to 5pm.
The Solid Waste Division regrets any inconvenience that this may cause. The Evergreen Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad has decided that it will no longer host this activity.
