INCIDENT REPORTS
Armed Robbery
On Aug. 4 at 12:22 a.m., police responded to investigate an alleged robbery, which was reported to have occurred in the 1400 block of Idaho St. in Woodbridge. The male victim, 27 of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was in the area above delivering pizzas when two unknown men approached his vehicle. One of the men brandished a shotgun and demanded the victim’s money. The men took the pizzas and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency from the victim before fleeing the area on foot. Police searched the area but did not locate the men. No injuries were reported. The victim was only able to provide police with a description of the armed man. Lookout: Male, unknown race or age, 5’8”, thin build. Last seen wearing a black bandana with red stripes around his face and black shorts.

ARRESTS
Narcotics Investigation
On Aug. 3, police concluded a narcotics investigation into the selling of cocaine with the execution of a search warrant at 1619 Carter Lane in Woodbridge. The investigation revealed that the accused had been selling cocaine in the Woodbridge area of Prince William County. The accused was arrested without incident and the search warrant resulted in four handguns, cocaine, marijuana and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency being seized. Arrested: Demetrius Levar Joyner, 34, of 1619 Carter Lane in Woodbridge. Charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic [cocaine], possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a firearm with narcotics. Court date set for Sept. 19, 2011, bond information unavailable.
