ARRESTS
Unlawful Wounding / Destruction of Property

On July 30 at 11:38 p.m., police responded to the 1400 block of Milbank Road in Woodbridge for an assault. The female victim, 22 of Woodbridge, reported to police she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly struck the victim in the face several times before fleeing the residence. The accused also broke a picture frame and door, valued around $200 before leaving. The victim was transported to an area hospital for her injuries. The accused was arrested on July 31 without further incident. Arrested: Shana Kilma, 21, of the 1400 block of Milbank Road in Woodbridge. Charged with unlawful wounding and destruction of property. Court date set for Aug. 23, 2011, released on a $1,000 unsecured bond.

Armed Robbery
On July 29 at 5:46 p.m., police responded to the 12400 block of Hedges Run Dr. in Lake Ridge for a robbery. The male victim, 17 of Woodbridge, reported to police he met up with an unknown man in the above area after seeing an advertisement on the Internet about buying sneakers. The victim got into a vehicle occupied by three unknown men. One of the men displayed a handgun and took the victim’s money and cell phone. The investigation led to the identity of all three men. Mullins and Lumbra-Dixon were arrested July 29 near the Cloverdale 7-11, while Hughes was taken into custody on July 30 at his residence. A search warrant was executed at his residence where the handgun used in the robbery was located. A search was also conducted at Mullins’ residence where a computer was seized. Arrested: Reco Richard Mullins, 18, of 15071 Cardin Place in Dale City; Devante Craig Lumbra-Dixon, 19, of 14827 Dorian Dr. in Dale City; Michael Anthony Hughes, 24, of 4668 Charlton Ct. in Woodbridge. All were charged with robbery, abduction and the use of a firearm in commission of a felony. Court date for all set for Sept. 14, 2011, Mullins and Hughes received a $5,000 secured bond, Lumbra-Dixon was held without bond.

Burglary to Business
On July 27 at 11:24 a.m., police responded to Dr. Jarbadan’s office and the Jade Tree Day Spa, both located in the 1900 block of Opitz Blvd. in Woodbridge for two separate reported burglaries. The investigation revealed an unknown man had broken into the two businesses listed above. The accused made entry into the doctor’s office through an unsecured rear window. A laptop and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency were reported missing. The accused made entry into the spa also through an unsecured rear window. Two CD players, spa items and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency were reported missing in that burglary. Total value of the reported stolen items was estimated around $1,000. As the investigation progressed, video surveillance was recovered from the spa showing the man entering the business around 10 p.m. on July 26. Police were able to identify this man as the accused. The accused was already wanted on a separate, unrelated burglary. Police located the accused on July 29 in the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and Village Drive where he was arrested without incident. A search warrant was executed at 1564 Randall Ct. where items reported missing where recovered. The accused was also connected to a burglary reported in July (see release below).  Arrested: Vincent Lee Talley Jr. 19 – no fixed address. Charged with burglary, petit larceny and destruction of property – relating to the July17 burglary and two counts of burglary and two counts of grand larceny from the July 26 burglaries. Court date set for Sept. 27, 2011, held without bond.
Burglary to Business (Previously Released)
On July 17 at 9:03 a.m., police responded to Crystal’s Beauty Academy at 14341 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge for a burglary. Owner reported to police the burglary occurred between 4 p.m. on July 16 and 6:10 a.m. on July 17. Entry appeared to have been gained through a rear glass door that had been shattered. No property was reported missing. 

INCIDENT REPORTS
Strong Armed Robbery

On July 29 at 7:51 a.m., police responded to investigate an alleged robbery, which was reported to have occurred in the 3400 block of Mount Burnside Way in Woodbridge. The male victim, 28 of Woodbridge, reported to police that at around 2:30 a.m., he was walking up to the door to his residence when he was struck in the back of the head, which knocked him to the ground. As the victim looked up, he observed three unknown men standing over him, assaulting him. One of the men reached into his pocket and took the victim’s wallet, which contained an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. The victim was able to get away at which time the men fled. The victim sustained minor injuries. The victim was unable to provide police with a description of the assailants. 

Vicious Dog
On July 30 at 7:24 a.m., police responded to the 16800 block of Jed Forest Lane in Woodbridge for a stray dog tangled up in the wood line area. The dog, described below, appeared to have gotten away from its owner and was still attached to a retractable leash. The dog had a faded red-colored collar with a blue tag around its neck. The leash had gotten lodged in the bushes causing the dog to become tangled. As an officer was attempted to free the dog, it bit the officer in the neck causing minor injuries. The dog became freed and fled the area. The officer was transported to an area hospital. Attempts to locate the dog were unsuccessful. If located, do NOT approach and call police at 703-792-6500. Lookout: A young, female, brindle colored pit-bull mix.

WANTED PERSON
Malicious Wounding / Domestic Related

On July 30 at 8:25 p.m., police responded to the 14800 block of Ensor Circle in Woodbridge for a domestic. The female victim, 42 of Woodbridge, reported to police she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal argument that escalated. During the encounter, the victim tried to go upstairs to get away from the accused. The accused then allegedly grabbed the victim, which caused her to fall down the stairs. After the incident, the accused left the residence. The victim was transported to an area hospital for her injuries. Attempts at locating the accused were unsuccessful. Wanted: Silvio Javier Mendoza Logo, 39, of the 14800 block of Ensor Circle in Woodbridge. Described as a Hispanic male, 6’0” 210 lbs., black hair, brown eyes. Wanted for malicious wounding.

OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS
Burglary

On July 30 at 1:05 p.m., police responded to the 1400 block of Mary Way in Woodbridge for a burglary. A neighbor reported to police the burglary occurred between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m.. There were no signs of forced entry into residence. Entry appeared to have been made through an unsecured rear door. An unknown amount of firearms, value unknown, were believed to have been stolen. 

Burglary
On July 29 at 1:28 p.m., police responded to the 3700 block of Expedition Dr. in Triangle for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 5 a.m. on July 25 and 7 p.m. on July 28. Entry appeared to have been gained through a rear window, which had been broken out. A laptop valued around $200 was reported missing.

Burglary
On July 29 at 1:30 p.m., police responded to the 13200 block of Nickleson Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between noon and 1 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear sliding glass door that had been broken out. A TV valued around $2,000 was reported missing. 

Attempted Burglary
On July 29 at 5:51 a.m., police responded to Fox Motors at 14548 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge for an alarm. Police arrived and observed a rear door that had been forced opened triggering the alarm. It could not be determined if entry was made into the business. No items were reported missing.
