Prowler
On July 25 at 4:25 a.m., police responded to the 1800 block of Cedar Cove Way in Woodbridge for a prowler. Homeowner reported to police that her 3 children, ages 13, 19 and 21, noticed an unknown man standing outside of their bedroom door which was located on the ground level. The area was checked extensively by police. No persons were seen in the area. No entry was gained or attempted into the residence and the man did not say anything. Lookout: Black male, unknown age, around 5’08” 190 lbs., thin build. Last seen wearing a white sleeveless T-shirt, no further description.
OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS
Burglary
On July 26 at 11:15 p.m., police responded to the 14700 block of Brook Dr in Dale City for a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that he had heard a loud noise coming from the basement area of the residence. Upon investing the noise, the homeowner discovered an unknown man inside the home. The homeowner confronted the man who took off running. Entry appeared to have been made through a basement window. No items were reported missing. Lookout: Black male, between 18 & 20 years of age, no further description.
Burglary
On July 23 at 4:45 a.m., police responded to the 15200 block of Lord Culpepper Ct. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between midnight and 4:30 a.m. There were no signs of forced entry. Entry appeared to have been made through an unsecured rear sliding glass door. Electronics, including TV’s and gaming equipment, valued around $5,000 were reported missing.
Attempted Burglary
On July 25 at 7:30 a.m., police responded to Stonerock Family Practice at 10696 block of Crestwood Dr. in Manassas for an attempted burglary. Employee reported to police that between 4 p.m. on July 22 and 7:15 a.m. on July 25, an unknown person(s) attempted to pry open a side door to the business. No entry was gained and no items were reported missing.
