Burglary—ARREST
On July 19, police made an arrest into the below burglary after information was received that the accused was responsible. Property reported missing was located at address on Meadowbrook Road. The accused was located at a residence which was nearby the burglary location. Arrested: Matthieu Allyn Alvarado, 20, of 14115 Morrison Ct. in Woodbridge. Charged with burglary, grand larceny and larceny with intent to sell. Court date set for Aug.24, 2011, held without bond.
Burglary (Previously Released)
On July 3 at 11:33 p.m., police responded to the 14100 block of Morrison Ct. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 6:45 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door that had been forced opened. Electronics valued around $2,000 were reported missing.

Burglary
On July 19 at 10:46 p.m., police responded to the 3600 block of Quantico Trail in Triangle for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 4:30 and 10:15 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. An undisclosed amount of U.S. currency was reported missing.
Attempted Burglary
On July 19 at 7:47 a.m., police responded to the 12600 block of Wimbley Lane in Woodbridge for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 8:30 p.m. on July 18 and 7 a.m. on July 19, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through the front door. The lock on the door was broken and keyhole tampered with. No entry was made into the residence and no items were reported missing.
