Burglary
On June 7 at 2:54 a.m., police responded to the 5900 block of Fincastle Dr in Manassas for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that an unknown man was seen inside the homeowner’s vehicle, which was unlocked and parked in the driveway. The man used a garage door opener, which was in the vehicle, to gain access to the garage. Once inside the garage, a second vehicle belonging to the homeowner was ransacked. The man fled the area on foot once being seen by the homeowner. Police canvassed the area but were unable to locate anyone. No entry was gained into the main residence. The homeowner was unable to provide police with a description of the intruder. During this investigation, police located 10 other vehicles in the surrounding area that had been tampered with.

Burglary
On June 7 at 12:19 a.m., police responded to the 11300 block of Gold Leaf Cir in Manassas for a burglary in progress. Homeowner awoke to a suspicious sound. Upon investigating, the homeowner observed an unknown man inside the residence who fled out of a rear door after being noticed. Entry is believed to have been made though an unsecured door. No items were reported missing from the residence. The homeowner was unable to provide police with a description of the intruder.
