Police suspect medical emergency in PW Parkway fatality Oct. 24
Fatal Crash Investigation – On Oct. 24, 2024 at 1:25AM, crash investigators with Prince William County Police Department responded to the area of the Prince William Pkwy. near Minnieville Rd. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a single vehicle crash. The investigation revealed the driver of a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer was traveling southbound on Prince William Pkwy. when the vehicle crossed over the grassy median and across the opposite travel lanes.
The vehicle then left the roadway and proceeded up an embankment before striking a tree where the vehicle came to rest. The driver is believed to have suffered a medical emergency and was pronounced deceased. No other occupants were in the vehicle. Crash investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed this crash to contact police.
