Lake Ridge Chorale to present its final performance this Friday, May 31
The Lake Ridge Chorale will present it final concert, “Hello, Springl,” a program of music suggested by the members of the group, on Friday, May 31 2024 at 8 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church in Woodbridge. The church is located at 13506 Minnieville Road (corner of Smoketown Road),
The concert program has been selected rom a wide variety of musical styles, both serious and lighthearted. Included are pop tunes, spirituals, and choral classics. Featured composers include Leonard Cohen, the Beach Boys, the Gershwins, Moses Hogan and Randall Thompson.
As has been tradition with the Lake Ridge Chorale, this concert is free and any donations received will be given to local charities: HUGS, Animal Allies, and SPARK (Education Foundation for Prince William County Public Schools).
This will be the Lake Ridge Chorale’s final concert program. DirectorTerry Stackley has decided to retire and the Chorale Board and members decided that her shoes could not be filled.
