I-95 northbound lanes near Dale City-Powell’s Creek Bridge to close off/on tonight May 20
Due to inclement weather this past weekend and prior to the Memorial Day weekend traffic rush, VDOT has announced that the northbound I-95 general purpose lanes will be closed tonight, Monday, May 20, around mile marker 155 between the Dale City Truck-Only Safety Rest Area North and Cardinal Drive for Powells Creek bridge work…milling, paving and striping. At least one lane will be open at all times, VDOT said.
The northbound lane closures now scheduled for tonight are:
• 9 to 10 p.m. Monday, May 20: One lane closed
• 10 p.m. Monday, May 20 to 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 21: Two lanes closed
• 4:30 a.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, May 21: One lane closed
