• Animal Cruelty Investigation – On Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 4:27PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the area of Oakwood Dr. and Armada Pl. in the Lake Ridge area of Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an animal cruelty.
The investigation revealed at approximately 4:00PM, an unknown woman left a dog next to a guardrail in the above area before leaving in a black Nissan.
A short time later, a Good Samaritan located the dog suffering from a broken leg and contacted the police. The dog, described as a 1–2-year-old brown chihuahua mix, was transported to the Animal Services Center for medical treatment. Animal Control Officers are seeking assistance from the public to identify the dog and obtain information leading up to the dog’s abandonment.
• Brandishing of a Firearm – On Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 9:46PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Burger King located at 16551 River Ridge Blvd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a brandishing.
The investigation revealed an employee and male patron were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the man threw cups of liquid toward the employees and then spat on an employee before running out of the restaurant.
When another employee followed the suspect outside, the man brandished a firearm towards the employee before the parties separated. No shots were fired, and no injuries were reported.
Suspect Description:
A black male between 5’10”-6’0’, with a medium build, black hair, brown eyes, a mustache, and facial tattoos
Last seen wearing all dark-colored clothing and possibly ripped jeans
