UPDATE

Fatal Crash Investigation *ARREST –
On November 2, 2023 crash investigators from the Prince William County Police Department arrested the driver involved in the fatal single vehicle crash that occurred in the area of Old Bridge Rd. and Colby Dr. in Woodbridge (22192) on April 29 which killed a 30-year-old male passenger inside the vehicle.

In late May, information was received which initially identified the suspected driver involved. Based on the initial information received, arrest warrants were obtained for that individual who was identified as a 55-year-old Woodbridge man. The individual came forward and was cooperative with investigators.

Based on additional information received, and recent results of DNA evidence collected at the scene, the actual driver was identified as Austin Michael WOOLFE. On November 2, following the investigation, the actual driver, identified as the accused, was arrested in connection to the fatal crash and providing false information to police.
