Benefit Car Show May 21 of all makes/models/years for Armed Forces Day and Alzheimer’s Longest Day
All vehicle makes and models/years and motorcycles too are invited to participate in an Armed Forces Day/Alzheimer’s Longest Day benefit car show on Sunday, May 21. The event, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. will be held at Tribute at the Glen assisted living in Lake Ridge at 4151 Old Bridge Road, Woodbridge, VA 22192.
According to Michelle Mindock, auto show coordinator, the $20 registration fee will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association in support of the Longst Day on June 21, when people around the world will fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s through a fundraising activity of their choice. Tribute at The Glen is starting its fundraising early.
Tribute at The Gl;en residents will decide “Best in Show” and present trophies. Trophy ceremony starts at 1 p.m. Two trophies per judging class. There will also be 100 dash plaques presented.. Registration on show day, May 21, will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Admission is free but donations on the day of the show will be appreciated, according to show organizers. There will also be a 50/50 raffle.
