Mill Creek Rd. in Haymarket closed Aug. 15-17

Mill Creek Road (Route 630) between Waterfall Road (Route 601) and Berkeley Drive (Route 2010) in Haymarket will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, from 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17 to replace culvert pipes, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Those needing to reach properties along Mill Creek Road will have access; however, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement (near 3705 Mill Creek Road) in either direction.

Through traffic will be detoured via Waterfall Road, Route 15 (James Madison Highway), Logmill Road (Route 701), Mountain Road (Route 600) and Berkeley Drive back to Mill Creek Road. Drivers are asked to follow posted detour signs.
