Manassas City Crime Report for May 11, 2022 - Vandalism and Hit & Run

Manassas City Police responded to the 8600 block of Stonewall Road (Life First Va.) in the City of Manassas for a reported vandalism. The victim reported that on May 7, 2022, between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., someone spray painted derogatory remarks on the backside of the building.  Police are currently investigating this incident. Cases of vandalism are taken seriously and investigated to the fullest extent possible. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to call police at (703) 257-8000.
Investigation is ongoing, according to MCPD’s public information officer Brian Larkin.

Hit and Run
On May 10, 2022, at 3:30 p.m., Manassas City Police responded to a call for service in the 9800 block of Main Street in the City of Manassas. While on scene an unknown person struck an unoccupied police cruiser, which was parked with emergency lights activated, and then left the scene. Anyone with information regarding this incident in encouraged to call (703) 257-8000. Investigation is ongoing, according to MCPD’s public information officer Brian Larkin.
