Ice cream shop employee’s keys, phone, vehicle missing
Commercial Burglary – On Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021 5 at 9:10PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to Bruster’s Ice Cream located at 8329 Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. An employee reported to police that his keys and phone were taken from inside the business before his vehicle was taken from the parking lot.
Video surveillance revealed that at approximately 8:30PM, the employee exited the business through the rear door before a suspect was observed entering the business. The suspect entered a back office and took the employee’s keys and phone before leaving the business. Shortly after, the same suspect was observed entering the employee’s vehicle and driving away. The investigation revealed that the suspect entered the business through the rear door which was found ajar. No additional property was reported missing.
Suspect Description:
A Hispanic male, approximately 25 years old, 5’5”, and 145lbs.
Last seen wearing a black sweat shirt with white Nike Swoosh on the front and black sweat pants
