Burglary While Armed – Early this morning, Friday, Dec. 3, 2021at 5:54AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 7100 block of Token Valley Rd. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a home invasion.
The homeowner, a 32-year-old man, reported to police that two armed men entered the home and demanded money. The encounter escalated when the suspects used the weapon to physically strike the homeowner. Both suspects fled the home prior to police arriving in the area. A police K-9 and helicopter assistance from Fairfax County police searched the area for the suspects who were not located.
The homeowner was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No property was reported missing. The only suspect descriptions
provided were two Hispanic males wearing all black clothing and Nike shoes.
This incident does not appear to be random. Master Police Officer Renee Carr, public information officer, said the investigation is continuing.
Arrests
Strong-Arm Robbery – Late last night, Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021 at 11:12PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 7800 Centreville Rd. in Manassas (20111) to investigate a robbery. A store employee reported to police that a delivery driver, identified as the accused, entered the store and began gathering merchandise for an order.
At one point, the accused selected additional merchandise and walked towards the door. When the employee confronted the accused, there was a brief verbal argument before the accused left the store. A short time later, the accused re-entered the store and struck the employee before taking the
merchandise, including the unpaid items, and leaving the store.
While investigating, officers located the accused, nearby and detained him. The employee reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the
accused, identified as Walter Benjamin FRANCO, was arrested.

Charged with robbery
