Prince William County Police Report for Dec. 2, 2021

Incidents
Abduction – On Tuesday, Nov, 30, 2021 at 8:14PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Lake Ridge area of Woodbridge to investigate an alleged abduction that was reported to have occurred in the 12300 block of Mohican Rd in Woodbridge (22192) at approximately 5:30PM.

The victim, a 14-year-old female juvenile, reported to police that she was walking with friends in the above area when, at one point, she separated from the group. As the victim walked by a nearby wooded area, an unknown man reportedly grabbed the victim’s arm and pulled her into the woods. During the encounter, the man put his hand on the victim’s mouth. As the victim’s friends began to call out for her, the suspect let go of the victim and fled further into the woods. After rejoining the group, the victim did not disclose the encounter to her friends and continued home where police were contacted later that evening.  Officers spoke to the friends who accompanied the victim, none of which reported seeing the suspect or hearing the encounter. The victim was not injured during the incident. The investigation continues.

A Hispanic male, with shoulder length black hair
Last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with writing down the right sleeve, jeans, and white sneakers

Arrests
Strong-Arm Robbery – Early on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021 at 3:45AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Wawa located at 10691 Davidson Pl in Manassas (20109) to investigate an assault.

The investigation revealed that an employee was assaulted by a patron, later identified as the accused, who was attempting to shoplift merchandise from the business. The employee observed the accused selecting merchandise and attempted to leave the premises without paying. When the employee confronted the accused, the employee was assaulted. Officers quickly responded to the location and where able to detain the accused without incident inside the business. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Ryan Anthony KARLSTROMER, was arrested.

Arrested on Dec. 2, 2021:
Ryan Anthony KARLSTROMER, 34, of no fixed address
Charged with robbery and public intoxication
Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond
