Manassas Council names Steve Burke as new Manassas City Manager

Steve Burke, an Assistant City Manager and Director of Public Works for the City of Manassas, has been named City Manager by Manassas City Council effective February. 3, 2025. Interim City Manager Douglas Keen will return to his post as Police Chief and an Assistant City Manager.

Traffic shift on Rt. 1 southbound in Woodbridge

The two through lanes of southbound Route 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) between the Occoquan River bridge and the Marumsco Creek bridge have been shifted onto new pavement as part of the Route 1 widening project, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
