Haymarket Town & Country Garden Club’s popular Holiday Shoppe is Nov. 22-23

The Haymarket Town & Country Garden Club has been busy preparing for its annual Holiday Shoppe which will be held this coming Friday, Nov. 22 from 10 to 5 and Saturday, Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Prince William Fire & Rescue Station 15 Community Hall on US Rte. 15 in Haymarket.

Ten people displaced, three homes burn after used fireworks tossed

Prince William County Fire Marshal's Office has determined the cause of a July 5, 2024 fire in Woodbridge to be the improper disposal of fireworks in a combustible trash receptacle stored Inside a storage shed, said Matt Smolsky, Fire Marshal. Ten people lost their homes when a total of three townhouses were deemed unsafe to occupy.

Sentara adds trauma rooms, weapons detection system to Emergency Room in Woodbridge

New security equipment, an on-staff security officer and two dedicated trauma rooms are among recent major additions in a $1 million upgrade to the Emergency Department at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center (SNVMC) in Woodbridge.
