Prince William Health District issued this information Friday, Nov. 12, on COVID vaccines for children and adults. PW Health District includes Manassas & Manassas Park.

On Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021 at 4:50PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 15900 block of Donald Curtis Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that when she entered her home, she observed three unknown individuals, two women and one man, inside the residence.

On Friday, Nov. 5, 2021 at 2:30PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 12600 block of Dulcinea Pl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 33-year-old woman, reported to police that an acquaintance, identified as the accused, made threats towards her.

On Friday, Nov. 5 at 3:34AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Potomac Vista Apartments located in the 14100 block of Bay Vista Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic with weapons.

On Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021 at 5:19PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to The Residences at Somerhill Farms Apartments located in the 7300 block of Yountville Dr. in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a home invasion. MPO Renee Carr, public information officer, said the investigation revealed that four male juveniles entered an apartment and brandished a firearm towards residents.

On Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021 at 11:42AM, the Prince William County Public Safety Communications Center received a call from an individual reporting a shooting-in-progress at Woodbridge High School, located at 3001 Old Bridge Rd in Woodbridge. The School Resource Officer (SRO) was present at the school at the time of the call and immediately took action to investigate the alleged incident.

Today, Friday, Nov. 5 at 11:29AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 14100 block of Renegade Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shooting.

Two lanes of southbound I-95 between Rte. 123 (Gordon Blvd.) and the Prince William Pkwy. (Route 294) will be closed, weather permitting, Saturday night, Nov. 6 and Sunday night, Nov. 7, and the right lane of southbound I-95 between RTe.123 and PW Parkway will be closed Monday night, Nov. 8, The closings are to implement a traffic shift, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Prince William County Government will conduct a Veterans Day ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11 at the county's Freedom Park Memorial near 5 County Complex Court, Woodbridge.

On Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021 at 10:35PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to The Elms at Signal Hill Station apartments located in the 8200 block of Handsome Joe Ln. in Manassas (20111) to investigate a domestic with weapons.

On Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021 at 10:40PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 15100 block of Fog Mountain Cl. in Haymarket (20169) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that earlier that evening an alarm notification was received that there was someone in the rear of the residence.
