Sentara Healthcare has postponed hospital-based non-emergency surgeries, procedures and diagnostic testing as COVID-19 hospitalizations reach record highs.

With COVID-19 cases surging and as part of UVA Health’s continued commitment to protect the health of its patients, team members, and communities-at-large, visitors are not permitted in inpatient units, emergency departments, outpatient clinics and outpatient procedural areas at UVA Prince William Medical Center in Manassas, UVA Haymarket Medical Center and UVA Culpeper Medical Center, The restrictions began at 8 p.m., Dec. 30.

The Police Department is requesting anyone in the Magnolia Court neighborhood in Manassas who was surveillance footage capturing the time frame between 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on December 27, 2021 to contact city police.

The investigation revealed that at some point during the day two children, a 1-year-old boy and a 9-month-old boy, gained access to prescription medication.
