The snow emergency put into effect on March 2, 2014 in the City of Manassas will be lifted at 12 p.m. (noon) today, March 4, 2014, a city spokesman reported.

The City of Manassas is declaring a Snow Emergency effective at 8 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014. This means that vehicles parked along designated snow emergency routes are subject to towing and fines.

Fauquier County Public Schools is offering Foreign Language Experience (FLEX) programs to elementary students. Registration is underway. The FLEX program is open to public, private and home-schooled students. No prior language knowledge or experience is required.
