Manassas National Battlefield Park was among seven national parks in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbiathat donated more than 12,000 pounds of venison to local nonprofit organizations that will serve approximately 48,000 meals to families in need. Prince William County Police are reporting that a student, age 14, at Freedom High School in Woodbridge, was arrested March 14, 2023 after being found in possession of two knives at the school.

Police said their investigation revealed that two family members, identified as the deceased and an 80-year-old man, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. One of the parties was shot once in the upper body and died from injuries sustained during the altercation.

The victim reported that she left her car running and took her laundry into the Big Coin Laundry on Mathis Ave. When she came back outside, her vehicle was missing.
