The ramp from westbound I-66 to northbound Route 234 (Exit 47B) will be closed (weather permitting) from 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 to noon Sunday, Dec. 9 for Prince William County Service Authority water main repairs, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. A detour will be marked.

Prince William County Police say that "video surveillance footage from the 7-Eleven which shows the burglary and the suspects involved is now available. Detectives are still working to identify the other three suspects and are asking for the public’s help in providing information about the suspects."

Occoquan Elementary School is known for the camaraderie of its employees, volunteers, parents, and students. When Mary Alexander announced her retirement, her colleagues were happy for her but sad to say goodbye. Alexander, library media assistant, has served at Occoquan for 32 years and is now working with the children of many former students.
