The scene is still being studied to possibly identify the ignition source, according to Matt Smolsky, Fire Marshal. A representative of the State Division of Utility and Railroad Safety is also on the scene to investigate the incident.

Sudley Manor fire Aug. 9 does $100,000 damage

Two adults and one child were displaced when a fire broke out in the 9700 block of Sudley Manor Drive in Manassas VA around 1:45 a.m. this morning, Thursday, Aug. 9. Ground broken on a hot day for 29 miles of HOT lanes on Interstate 95

The Dale City VA rest area on Interstate 95 in Prince William County was the scene for the symbolic gtoundbreaking for the i-95 HOT lanes project. This public-private project will add or enhance 29 miles of the interstate. The I-95 Express Lanes are high occupancy toll (HOT) lanes, which means high occupancy vehicles such as carpools, vans and buses will have free access to the lanes. Drivers with fewer than three people may pay a toll to use the lanes.

Interactive digital textbooks in economics and personal finance to help Virginia high school students earn a now-required diploma credit in these subjects have been developed by the Virginia Department of Education. The economics-personal finance credit requirement became effective for students who began high school in the 2011-12 school year.
