PWC Annual Holiday Walk of Lights at Neabsco Regional Park opens Dec. 6

Prince William County Parks and Recreation is hosting its annual Holiday Walk of Lights at Neabsco Regional Park for the third year. The FREE lights display begins Friday, Dec. 6. New this year: Visitors can experience the magic of the holiday season with visits from holiday characters, joyful holiday music sung by carolers and an unforgettable holiday shopping experience on select nights.

The University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg will host a debate for the three candidates in the 1st Congressional District of Virginia race on Monday, Oct. 29 at 7:30 p.m. in George Washington Hall’s Dodd Auditorium. Part of Prince William County is in the 1st Congressional District. The university is located a short distance off US 1.

80 storage units damaged or destroyed in three-alarm fire on Sudley Road

Prince William County VA Fire Marshal’s Office investigators are working to determine the origin and cause of an Oct. 14 fire that heavily damaged or destroyed about 80 storage units and brought in firefighting units from Fauquier, Loudoun and Fairfax counties to supplement Prince William County's firefighting force. No one was injured and no fire loss estimate is yet available.
