Woodbridge VA High School officials are requesting that the media respect their request to stay off the school campus when reporting on the homicide involving Kenny Diaz, a member of the Woodbridge Viking football team.
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is encouraging homeowners this week–SepticSmart Week–to ensure their septic systems are functioning properly to protect public health and preserve valuable water resources.
Prince William County Police are asking for the public’s help in providing information about a homicide reported to have occurred at Marumsco Acre Lake Park at 14398 Melbourne Ave in the Woodbridge area of Prince William County, VA.

Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is warning customers to be wary of companies who call claiming they can offer cheaper insurance rates based on information from DMV records. DMV does not sell insurance, solicit the sale of insurance, or release driver information for marketing purposes, said DMV spokesman Sunni Brown.
