Residents are asked to be in place and off of the roads by this afternoon and be aware of the potential for icy spots as freezing temperatures remain through much of the week. Please keep in mind there will be a multi-day response to this storm as VDOT works to make the roads passable.

Virginia State Parks once again set a new attendance record with 8,871,822 visitors in 2013, 6 percent higher than 2012’s record attendance of 8,366,179.
