Habitat for Humanity invites community residents to attend a free Homeownership Information Meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Georgetown South Community Center. Habitat is looking for a family that would be interested in a two-bedroom home in Manassas.
On December 16th, 2013 Detectives from the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force concluded a three month-long narcotics investigation involving the distribution of heroin with the execution of multiple search warrants in Manassas City and Prince William County.
Congressman Frank Wolf, who represents part of the Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park area, says he will not run for reelection. His future work will be in human rights and religious freedom, he said.
Northern Virginia Community College will be closed for winter break Dec. 23 through Jan. 1. Registration for the spring semester will continue online while NOVA is closed.
