“While a new law allowing hunting in Virginia on Sundays went into effect July 1st, that law applies only to private lands,” said Gary Heiser, manager of Virginia’s 24 State Forests. “Hunting on Sunday is still prohibited on public lands, including the State Forests.”

On Monday, September 29th at approximately 9:30 p.m., fire and rescue units were dispatched to a structure fire in a single family home located in the 10100 block of Lomond Drive in Manassas. A Building Inspector was on scene and posted the structure as being unsafe.
