The Haymarket Town & Country Garden Club has been busy preparing for its annual Holiday Shoppe which will be held this coming Friday, Nov. 22 from 10 to 5 and Saturday, Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Prince William Fire & Rescue Station 15 Community Hall on US Rte. 15 in Haymarket.
Virginia Department of Transportation advises that overnight Tuesday, May 26, traffic on southbound US 29 between I-66 and Linton Hall Road will be shifted onto the new bridge over the railroad tracks and the ramp from eastbound I-66 to southbound US 29 (at Exit 43A) will be reopened.

Memorial Day is a special day, and a day on which all Americans should honor the fallen. Every day as I drive to work to the U.S. Congress down the George Washington Memorial Parkway, I am reminded of the great sacrifices men and women have made for our country so we can remain free.
Manassas City Police made another arrest as part of “Operation Broken Heart”, a collaborative effort that involves local, state, and federal authorities targeting sexual predators and traffickers during April and May of 2015.
Prince William County School Board named the county's 12th high school for State Senator Charles J. Colgan, Sr. at its meeting on May 20. Senator Colgan was lauded by Board members for his dedication to public service, for his statesmanship, and advocacy for public education.

On May 22nd at 4:15AM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy and the Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.
